Professional biography
Dr. Tahani Hamad Al-Obaidli is a legal consultant and lecturer in criminal law. She serves as Secretary-General of the Arab Union for Combating Forgery and Counterfeiting, affiliated with the League of Arab States, and as President of the Arab Intellectual Property Agency. She is also a trainer and arbitrator and previously served as Vice President of the Arab Women Leaders Union in Kuwait and as a diplomat.
Her professional and civic work includes membership in Kuwaiti friendship clubs affiliated with the Australian, British and Canadian embassies, a board role at Idaat for Excellence and Proficiency in Saudi Arabia, and leadership roles with Soroptimist International’s Kuwait chapter and the Al-Zahra Healthy City security committee.
