Professional biography
Dr. Marc Lendermann heads the division for bilateral digital policy at the German Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernization. He leads a team responsible for international cooperation in digital policy. Previously, he was seconded to Germany’s Consulate General in San Francisco as liaison officer to Silicon Valley and held positions in the Federal Chancellery, Germany’s Permanent Representation to the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs. He is a trained lawyer and holds degrees, including a doctorate, from universities in Germany and France.
