Professional biography
Dr. Marc Lendermann heads the division for bilateral digital policy at the German Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernization. He leads a team responsible for cooperation with other countries in the field of digital policy.
Previously, he was seconded to Germany’s Consulate General in San Francisco as a liaison officer to Silicon Valley. He also held positions in the Federal Chancellery, at Germany’s Permanent Representation to the European Union in Brussels and in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs. He trained as a lawyer and holds degrees, including a doctorate, from universities in Germany and France.
