Jan Hanrath is co-founder and CEO of CARPO, a Bonn-based think tank working through research, dialogue and exchange in the Middle East and Europe.

His work focuses on conflict transformation, migration and regional cooperation. He has led projects on Iran–Saudi dialogue, economic development in Yemen and academic exchange, and previously worked at PRIF and other research institutions.
